Private School Satellite Program (PSP)
Assisting homeschooling families in their calling to educate their children in a non-traditional setting
The Private School Satellite Program (PSP) is an extension of Horizon Christian Academy, established to assist homeschooling families in their calling to educate their children in a non-traditional setting. PSP offers record-keeping accountability, classroom experience, social interaction, and other educational resources and opportunities.
Students in Jr/Sr High participate in four classes on the Jr/Sr High Campus. You get to choose the amount of involvement in extra curricular activites that best meets the needs of your student and your family. PSP offers the best of both worlds to our families...a home school environment and support, with four classes and activities on a campus.
The application process includes an initial interview with the PSP director, meeting with academic counselors, completing an application packet, and having an administrative interview. Applications are available in the Horizon Christian Academy Mt. Alifan office or they can be downloaded here on our website. Please note that membership in HSLDA is mandatory under our PSP guidelines. For more information please contact Erik Hansen, PSP Director (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We would love to partner with you as you endeavor to train your child up in the way they should go. (Prov. 22:6).
